Threshold price for Russian oil possible only if many agree – min

BRUSSELS, Jun 27 (PRIME) -- Introduction of a maximum threshold price for Russian energy is possible only if many countries agree on that, German Economy Minister Robert Habeck told reporters on Monday.

“The threshold prices for purchases that the Americans suggested are a good idea only in case a sufficient amount of countries participates in that,” he said, adding that the leaders of the G7 countries discussed the idea during their summit.

“Let’s see how far they would be able to move on.”
